The Köprü Çay River, born from the Toros Mountains and flowing through a series of enchanting canyons, pours into the Mediterranean from the south of the Serik district.

Fed by underground springs among steep cliffs and flowing through impassable canyons, the Köprü Çay forms one of Turkey’s most beautiful recreation areas. The numerous settlements of archaeological importance in the region, especially the ancient city of Selge (Zerk) with its castles and towers spread on both sides of the river, arched Roman bridges, and historic roads, add significance to the nature of the Köprülü Canyon.

Access to Köprü Çay is possible from Antalya via Serik, Taşağıl, and Beşkonak roads. Those coming from Manavgat can reach Beşkonak via Taşağıl. The asphalt road leading to Beşkonak occasionally follows the Köprü Çay.

The Köprülü Canyon National Park, together with the ancient city of Selge, covers an area of 36,000 hectares, including a part of the Köprü Çay. In addition to Turkey’s largest Mediterranean Service Forest, the National Park also includes a rich variety of trees such as Red Pine, Black Pine, Cedar, Spruce, Oak, and Wild Olive trees. Red-Spotted Trout can be caught in the upper reaches of the river, while Mullet can be found in other parts of the Köprü Çay.

About 100 meters before the Oluk Bridge, the water becomes calm and the river takes on a pool shape, making it an ideal starting point for rafting tours. Waterfalls encountered during the rafting tour add to the beauty of the surroundings. After each waterfall, the river slows down, allowing for the enjoyment of its magnificent scenery. The rafting tour ends after 14 kilometers, accompanied by nature, history, sports, and animations.
